SN1 supports multiple competitions, each with their own varied challenges. To start, we'll be doing matrix compression - condensing AI model information to be easier sent. It’s a problem at the heart of decentralized intelligence: efficiently training in a global setting. Apex miners will be competing to create the most efficient matrix compression algorithms, which will then be adopted by our SN9 devs to improve their distributed pipelines ⚡ In other words, @IOTA_SN9 will be directly using @Apex_SN1. They're our first of many customers, applying our miners' algorithms for their training (including Training at Home, which is soon to launch). It’s the sort of symbiosis #Bittensor thrives on. But this competition isn’t just for us. There are several distributed training subnets out there. They can make use of these solutions, too.
