🚧 Incoming: Block Bundling (“Basti Blocks”) in the @Polkadot SDK.
The new PR refactors the slot-based collator to build blocks on demand and bundle multiple parablocks into a single PoV, enabling ~500ms execution on the node side and much better core utilization.
Instead of 1 parablock → 1 PoV → 1 core, parachains can now produce blocks at their own cadence (e.g., every 2s) and submit them batched to the Relay Chain.
A big step toward higher throughput + lower overhead across the network.
