The upcoming Qtum 29.1 hardfork includes EIP-2537, has been integrated into Qtum’s EVM. This upgrade adds BLS12-381 precompiles, which enable more efficient ZK-Rollups and strengthen cryptographic security.
The update supports Layer 2 scaling for applications like trading, gaming, and cross-chain bridges, and keeps Qtum aligned with current EVM standards for developer compatibility.
